Check out this cover of Steely Dan's classic Deacon Blues. Hoping to make this the first in a series of videos, featuring raw guest talent, original songs, and old songs in original ways. Check it out...
Norman Frank’s music is equal parts soulful and heavy, praising and damning, American and global. A musically rich tapestry of R&B, Afrobeat, Jazz, Vintage Pop, and World, all rooted in the fertile musical delta of the Blues. Every song is a world within itself, never quite taking the listener to the same place twice, yet somehow managing to connect these manifold musical journeys through sounds that transcend time. Typically performed by a goliath ensemble of instrumentalists of every stripe, The Ghost Dance is the sound of worlds past brought current, the way music is supposed to be made: by people, for people. Not to be missed, this music will get you on your feet, and put you on your knees.
